Visit the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum
|
The Museum of the Jimmy Carter Library provides a unique experience for the visitor. Through displays of room settings, objects, documents, photographs, audio, and video, visitors can acquire a close-up view of the modern American Presidency. Changing exhibits are drawn from the library and museum collections or are based on themes relating to the presidency and American political history. Many of these are traveling exhibitions from the Smithsonian Institution, other Presidential Libraries, and other museums around the world.

Martin Luther King Memorial & National Historic Site

See MLK’s childhood home on Auburn St and the Ebenezer Church.
Established in 1968 by Mrs. Coretta Scott King, The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change (“The King Center”) has been a global destination, resource center and community institution for over a quarter century. Nearly a million people each year make pilgrimage to the National Historic Site to learn, be inspired and pay their respects to Dr. King’s legacy.
