Ultimate High School Trip to Italy

No destination is as popular with students and teachers than a high school trip to Italy.

The ultimate high school trip to Italy itinerary depends on how much time you have and of course your budget.

One of our favorite itineraries makes sure your students see the highlights without being too rushed. There are some standard locations and some new twists too.

Here is our ultimate high school trip to Italy. We’d love to know what you think.

Day 1 - Milan

Arrive in Milan to workout your jetlag. Start with dropping off your luggage at the hotel and a good breakfast then meet your local guide for a walking tour.

After the walking tour make sure to get a tour of the Cathedral and then the Last Supper Museum to see Leonardo Da Vinci’s masterpiece in person.

Day 2 - Verona to Venice

Day 2 will have you drive to Verona for a stop and walking tour and lunch. Then after lunch you will do a stop in Padua before arriving in Mestre where you will stay overnight.

Day 3 - Venice

Venice is an incredible city and on this day we will start early to have students take their Gondola Ride. They will discover the art of the gondoliers. Here only 400 or so of these handcrafted skiffs remain and the craft of maneuvering the canals  is passed on from generation to generation.

Then on to Piazza San Marco for your glass blowing experience. From there will have some free time to explore before the tour of the Doge Palace.

Dinner can be in the city or back at the hotel.
