Plan your Student Trip to Ireland in 2021
Planning a student trip to Ireland in 2021? It's a great way to introduce students to international travel. Your group gets to see more than just the highlights of the 'Emerald Isle'.
Dublin
Dublin is an incredible small big city. Here the vikings first settled on the banks of the Liffey river in 841. Dubh Linn means black pool. The Danes would convert the island to Christianity in 1028.
Students will see Dublin Castle, learn about Guinness at the factory and take them on a literary tour of the city.
Connemara and Galway
Drive cross country to Galway and the Connemara region. Take in the pastoral landscapes on this most memorable drive. Make your way to Kylemore Abbey. once a Benedictine monastery founded in 1920.
Cliffs of Moher
No school trip to Ireland in 2021 could miss going to the Cliffs of Moher. Rising some 700 feet in some parts the cliffs make a dramatic impression on all visitors.
Blarney Castle
Have the gift of the gab? Here you'll have a chance to actually kiss the stone. It is said Blarney Stone is said to impart "the ability to deceive without offending". Make sure the castle is on your itinerary.
Cashel Rock
No student trip to Ireland is complete without a stop at Rock of Cashel Rock. Legend has it St-Patrick banished satan from the caves. The nave of the chapel was designed so the sun would shine directly upon the altar on March 17. As local guides would say, this would never be proven as it is never sunny in Ireland!
