Day 1
Motorcoach arrives at your school

Motorcoach stops at driver’s discretion.
Motorcoach stops en route for lunch
Time chosen at driver’s discretion (student’s expense).
Expected Travel Time: 3 Hours
Expected Arrival at Fort Valley State U.
Students will get a session with the Admissions department
Followed by a Tour of the Campus
Then lunch at the Dining Hall.

Depart for Auburn University
Students will get a session with the Admissions department
Followed by a Tour of the Campus
Then lunch at the Dining Hall.
Dinner at the campus dining Hall
Meet motorcoach and Depart for hotel
Check in to Hotel
Hotel Hampton Inn or similar ( possibly the Hotel at Auburn U)
Overnight Security (start) until 4:00 AM

Day 2

Followed by a Tour of the Campus
Then lunch at the Dining Hall.
Depart to visit the Legacy Museum
Located in the heart of downtown Montgomery, Alabama, the Legacy Museum and National Memorial for Peace and Justice are just a 16-minute walk apart. Purchase a combination ticket to experience both the museum and memorial in a single day or plan an overnight trip to explore America’s history of racial injustice and its legacy

Depart to visit the Edmund Pettus bridge
Walk the Edmund Pettus Bridge
The Edmund Pettus Bridge, now a National Historic Landmark, was the site of the brutal Bloody Sunday beatings of civil rights marchers during the first march for voting rights. The televised attacks were seen all over the nation, prompting public support for the civil rights activists in Selma and for the voting rights campaign. After Bloody Sunday, protestors were granted the right to continue marching, and two more marches for voting rights follow
