GO Educational Tours, LLC (Customer Agreement)


This Customer Agreement (“agreement”) is made between the Tour Operator (as described below) and the Traveler (herein referred to as “Customer”, “Group”, “Participant”, “I”,”School”, “You”, or “Your”).   After reading this entire booking agreement terms and conditions, you must indicate your acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement by clicking the appropriate box online or sending a signed copy to our office by email, mail or fax (781.787.2931) for your reservation to be complete.


Tour Operator:

All packages and related components have been arranged by GO Educational Tours, LLC (“GO”), a Massachusetts Limited Liability Company located at 301 North Avenue, 2nd Floor, Wakefield, MA, 01880.  GO is responsible for making travel arrangements through independent vendors and suppliers and does not own or operate any airline, hotel, establishment, motorcoach, tour, attraction or event company or provider that may be included in its package offerings.

Or online at via your trip portal or by phone at 1-855-446-8687.  The per person (per student or per adult) deposit amount described, refundable or nonrefundable, below in brochure/flier/invoice/website/booking agreement/confirmation is required by due date in order to secure your package.


Deposits, periodic, and final payments are due in our office by the due date associated therewith. Payment due dates vary according to your package and chosen payment plan. Please refer to your Booking Agreement details, account or invoice for exact payment due dates or contact our office.


Failure to make on-time payments may result in cancellation of reservation, loss of first choice of hotel, flight, cruise and/or other transportation, reservation suspension, assessment of a late payment fee or reinstatement fee, and/or removal of all price discounts/adjustments and booking incentives previously applied to your account.


Payments may be made by school check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover credit/debit card, PayPal  on our secure website or by phone and cardholder must agree to the terms and conditions contained herein.  Personal checks will be accepted, although reservation is not considered complete and tickets will not be issued until check has cleared and monies have been received by issuing bank.

A 30% deposit is required in order to secure all travel arrangements.


Final payment

Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure. No trip will depart or services initiated unless fully paid prior to departure. Late payment fees may be assessed.

Reserving a Domestic or International Trip with Airfare Included

A $150 deposit is required within 12 days of your booking  in order to secure your quoted airfare. A deposit will be required to secure the non refundable air portion and the land portion. These may vary and will be indicated on your booking agreement and invoice. This deposit is for the airfare portion only.


If you have air travel in your travel booking with GO Educational Tours, a second deposit of 30% will be required 120 days prior to departure and final payment due 60 days prior to departure.*


Payment terms can be agreed to with your travel specialist however certain final deposit dates cannot be changed by the vendor agreements and contracts.


All airfare deposits are Non-Refundable. Trip packages with airfare will be covered by a CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) policy with Travel Insured.  In the case of a cancellation by an individual or the group this coverage will cover 75% of the non refundable funds.


Payment dates: deposit and final payment terms are subject to change as per airline or other vendor policies.


GO Educational Tours cannot guarantee all travel arrangements as per the Booking Agreement and Invoice if the final payment is made within less than 42 days prior to departure for motor coach trips or 60 days for packages that include airfare.


Credit Cards:

GO accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit/debit cards.  You may make payments via our PayPal payment portal or by calling our office.  Customers paying by credit card must agree to these terms and conditions contained herein and, by doing so, have agreed to waive all chargeback rights.


Payment Schedule and Trip

Once you have reserved and booked your trip we proceed rapidly to book all of your desired activities and hotels to insure the program you wish is realized and all the components reserved for you.


To guarantee all trip details are secured final payments, rooming list assignments are required 60 days before departure.


Package Inclusions:

All package inclusions are listed on your Booking Agreement and Invoice and are subject to terms and conditions contained herein.   Air and coach (& other)  transportation providers, hotel accommodations, and events and locations are subject to change.  In the event of a hotel change, equal or upgraded accommodations will be provided. In the event of changes by other vendors, an equal or similar option will be offered or the costs associated with the specific vendor will be refunded.


Changes to Reservation:

Any change made to a reservation once payment has been received must be requested in writing by emailing gooperations@goeducationaltours.com or your Travel Specialist. GO is subject to the rules and fees of third party vendors and suppliers and therefore change requests are not guaranteed. If the requested change is possible, any fees incurred by the vendor or supplier, as well as an administration fee will be added to the reservation.  


Name changes (name changes on airline bookings are generally not permitted unless otherwise indicated) may incur a $250 (or more subject to the airline policy) name change fee plus any change fee imposed by airline(s).


Other airline fees such as baggage and fuel surcharges are subject to change and modification by the airline. The contract between GO Educational Tours and the airline will serve as support to any fuel or baggage surcharges.


Any requested changes made to your booking will incur a $25 per change fee. Adding or reducing your student count or other changes to your program or invoice will be considered a change.  Last minute changes requires GO to make multiple changes to reservations and confirmations with vendors.


Cancellation and Refund Policy:

In the event that the traveler wishes to cancel his/her reservation, requests must be made in writing by email to canx@goeducationaltours.com.

Group Cancellation

You may cancel a trip at anytime, however, fees are applicable as per the schedule above. Trips with CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) coverage will have to submit their claim with Travel Insured.


Individual Cancellations

An individual cancellation may be refunded if the group minimum is respected.

All group tours are based on a minimum number of paying students or passengers. If an individual should need to cancel and the minimum number of paying passengers is respected, the individual will be refunded.


We recommend you always select the lower number of paying participants. Should your participant numbers go down your minimum price would be guaranteed.


For example. If your price is based on 48 paying students and you have enlisted 50. Should the 50th participants or the 49th cancel, they would be fully refunded as the minimum number of paying student is respected.

Travel Protection Insurance Plan


GO strongly recommends the purchase of the available travel protection plan to provide protection to travelers in the event of certain types of trip cancellation, trip interruption, travel delay, emergency medical assistance and transportation, and delayed or lost baggage.  See website or brochure for full complete details and terms (here).   


GO Educational Tours offers a Cancel Anytime Coverage for all its packages through Travel Insured.  This includes Travel Medical and Interruption protection along with a Cancel Anytime Policy allowing you to get 75% of all funds disbursed.

Tour Cancellation by GO


GO reserves the right to cancel any tour at any time.


In the unlikely event that a cancellation of the tour becomes necessary, GO will notify the  organizer and/or participant(s) at the earliest possible time and will provide an alternative option at no additional charge.  If the alternative option is not accepted by the participant, GO will provide a full refund of all monies paid to GO, provided the option is declined in writing within 7 days of receipt of cancellation notification.  


GO is not responsible for cancellations due to circumstances beyond GO’s control, or force majeure (including or similar to political/civil unrest, war or threat of war, riots, closure of airports, or ports, industrial disputes, terrorist activity, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemic or health risk, Acts of God, sickness, breakdown, customs regulations, strikes, hotel overbookings, or adverse weather conditions).


Travelers with Certain Handicaps

Any passenger with incapacities or handicaps or requiring special attention or treatment must submit by a qualified medical person that the person is able to travel. Special needs travelers can be accommodated if sufficient time is accorded to make the necessary arrangements.


Travelers – with medical conditions

If there are passengers with severe allergies it is important to indicate prior to travel.   GO cannot insure an hypo allergenic environment. Also all travelers are responsible for their medication and or other treatments during the course of a trip.


Travel Documentation

Proof of Citizenship Required for Travel- Travel Documents/Visas for travel to foreign destinations:

ALL NAMES MUST BE AS THEY APPEAR ON YOUR PASSPORT or TRAVEL DOCUMENTS.  All travelers are required to provide proper identification for air travel and/or customs and immigration.  US citizens must have a valid passport for travel outside the United States.  Non-US citizens must consult their consulate for ID or visa requirements.  IT IS YOUR SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO OBTAIN PROPER IDENTIFICATION/VISAS/ PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP FOR TRAVEL OUTSIDE THE US.  Passengers who are denied boarding or entry for improper documentation will not be eligible for a refund of any amount.  Visit www.travel.state.gov for information pertaining to required documentation for International travel.

GO is not responsible for any passenger denied entry into foreign countries and any fees incurred by any delays at border crossings.

Identification for domestic air travel

Adult passengers 18 and over must show valid identification at the airport checkpoint in order to travel.

We understand passengers occasionally arrive at the airport without an ID, because of losing it or inadvertently leaving it at home. If this happens to you, it does not necessarily mean you won’t be allowed to fly. If you are willing to provide additional information, we have other ways to confirm your identity, like using publicly available databases, so you can reach your flight.

If we clear you through this process, we may give you additional screening. If we can’t verify your identity, you may not be allowed to enter the screening checkpoint or to board a plane.

Acceptable IDs for screening purposes include:

Special Circumstances / Custom Bookings:  At times, there may be a non-refundable deposit required by a vendor/supplier to guarantee a reservation.  If such a non-refundable deposit was paid by GO to any supplier, this amount will be deducted from any refund due.

Cancellation of Confirmed Airfares:  Most airlines require a non-refundable payment in full of published airfare at the time of booking to secure best available schedule and fare.  No refunds will be issued by GO for air cancellations.  Each airline’s cancellation policies, restrictions, and conditions vary, so please check with the air carrier’s directly for information on available credit towards a future air ticket.


Air Transportation:

Fuel-related and other fees charged by airlines and governmental departure taxes/fees are passed to the tour participant and are subject to change at any time.  Any change in these fees will be adjusted accordingly on your account no later than 10 days prior to departure and, in the event of an increase, must be paid in full regardless of whether account was previously paid in full.



The type of transportation provided by GO varies by package type, week of travel, group size, and individual preferences.  Please check your invoice for details.  No refunds will be issued for missed transportation. It is understood that GO reserves these services through other suppliers and  is not responsible for additional standard fees applied by the supplier, or fees that may be charged due to a change in the original reservation or itinerary.


Motorcoach transportation


GO contracts with various DOT approved motorcoach carriers. GO is not responsible for any delays due to mechanical breakdowns or other uncontrollable events and or delays caused by these. We recommend for all travel to have a comprehensive travel insurance to cover all unexpected costs and delays.


Hotel Accommodations:

All hotel accommodations have been arranged by GO.  Hotels may vary by destination, city, and week of travel.  GO reserves the right to substitute hotel accommodations of similar quality at any time, given the substituted accommodations are in the same city and destination and with the same arrival/departure schedule.  Check-in/check-out times, amenities, and hotel policies may vary by hotel.  


Special requests will be on a per request basis.

GO does make specific requests to our hotel partners for boys and girls rooms to be on different floors. However, in some cases this may not be possible due to other issues not under our control.


Optional Tours and Excursions:

GO has made arrangements with various suppliers in each destination to offer a variety of optional tours and excursions, in which coupons/vouchers/tickets will be given to you upon purchase.  It is your sole responsibility to retain all coupons/vouchers/tickets. No refunds will be given for lost, stolen, or unused coupons/vouchers/tickets.



Meal plans are available and planned by GO Educational Tours. For motorcoach tours, most meal plans exclude the first day breakfast and lunch and the last day dinner. These are usually the charge of the students (passengers). For example, on a 3 day trip, 6 meals would be included; 2 breakfasts, lunches and dinners unless otherwise indicated.


Unused Tour Arrangements:

No refunds or credits will be provided to participant by GO for any unused accommodations, flights, services, or other package features unless agreed to in writing by both parties.  


Changes to the Program:

On occasion for unforeseen or necessary reasons, changes must be made to your program/itinerary. In order to insure passenger safety or for other logistical considerations appropriate to the situation during the program prior or during the program GO will make the proper modifications as required. No changes will be made where extra costs are incurred.


Furthermore, any delays, detentions or other forms of travel delays, of an individual or the group, related to border crossings, connections, etc, any related fees and costs incurred will be at the charge of the client/group. GO recommends a travel insurance policy with travel interruption coverage.



By agreeing to and signing this customer agreement (including digital signatures), the participant hereby agrees to accept and be legally bound by all of the terms and conditions contained herein with no exceptions.  I understand that GO (GO Educational Tours LLC ) does not own or operate any entity which provides goods or services for your trip including, but not limited to, air carriers, hotels, ground operators, boat or bus companies, restaurants and other establishments, and sightseeing/side excursion tours, nor is GO responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss a passenger incurs on any portion of the tour arising from acts or omissions by said suppliers.


Any costs or fees incurred due to events out of the control of GO and should any extension of the trip be necessary due to weather or other uncontrollable events will be the responsibility of the passengers. We recommend for all travel to have a comprehensive travel insurance to cover all unexpected costs and delays.



The invalidity or unenforceability of any part of this Agreement, or the invalidity of its application to a specific situation or circumstance, shall not affect the validity of the remainder of this Agreement, or its application to other situations or circumstances.  Any provision of this Agreement held invalid or unenforceable only in part or degree will remain in full force and effect to the extent not held invalid or unenforceable.


Claims or Disputes/Arbitration:

In the event of a dispute or claim made by participant concerning, relating or referring to this Agreement, advertisement of tour, tour inclusions, performance of GO, or any claim made against GO, GO will make every effort to resolve said dispute or claim between the individual or parties involved.  If the dispute or claim cannot be resolved between the participant and GO, the participant agrees that any dispute or claim shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration according to the then existing rules of the American Arbitration Association in an arbitration conducted in, and governed by the laws of Massachusetts, USA.  In connection with any action or legal proceeding arising out of this agreement, the parties hereby specifically and knowingly waive any rights that either party might have to demand a jury trial.



By selecting the appropriate button below, this indicates that I have, on the date shown, read and understood this document and I acknowledge that it affects my legal rights and agree to be bound by its terms.  By accepting this agreement, it further signifies my intention to relieve and indemnify GO, its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and subcontractors from any liability for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death which I might suffer during my participation in the scheduled tour package.


Traveler responsibilities

The group and its passengers accept any reasonable directives given during the course of the tour. In the case of a passenger or passengers conducting themselves in a prejudicial manner to other passengers and or vendors and or other people despite repeated warnings to cease the conduct the passenger or passengers can be expelled from the tour and will have to assume any related costs to returning safely home. No refund would be given for the unused portions of the trip.
