About Us

Our mission is to have students travel smart and become smarter travelers. Learning from travel and learning to travel is fun, enriching and life changing. We make it happen. We call it TQ – Travel Quotient. Seeing, living and adapting to new surroundings, environments, languages and cultures while learning and having fun. It makes a difference now and give students an advantage later – a competitive advantage.

GO. It’s a small word with a lot of muscle. GO is the difference between saying you’d like to visit the Empire State Building one day and actually seeing Central Park from 86 stories up. At GO Educational Tours, we’re dedicated to making student travel dreams reality, whether it’s skiing the Canadian Rockies, or cheering in the stands at a hurling match in Dublin. Together, let’s GO!

Educational tours are one-of-a-kind opportunities for secondary school students to develop and expand their world views while discovering fascinating, exciting places alongside their teachers and peers. We, at GO Educational Tours, have over 50 years of combined experience in the student youth travel industry. Our depth of knowledge gives us an edge that students and teachers traveling with us will see and feel from their very first phone call.

Our mission at GO Educational Tours is dedicated to creating affordable, enjoyable, safe and customized experiential learning programs for school communities that educate and inspire through long-lasting relationships and impeccable customer service.

Together, Let’s GO!

Working with a tour company should be simple and rewarding. We’ll work to make teachers’ specific ideas, travel projects, focus topics and other priorities a reality.

We are dedicated and determined to make your GO Educational Tours experience GO perfectly.

Don’t just dream it. See it. Together, let’s GO!

GO Leaders

We train our tour leaders to be the best tour leaders for student groups.

They are education students who want to work with young students and share our passion for education and travel.

They are educational tour leaders and they are our keys to the success of your tour. That is why we invest time and effort in making sure they are well selected and trained. They are fun, cool, knowledgeable, accessible, and their continuous priority is the group’s safety.

We specifically select them for their ability to engage with students. We recruit from the education departments of local colleges. Here, we identify those who stand out from the rest, enjoy working with young students, and enjoy sharing the joys of travel.

They will make sure the tour runs well. Sometimes weather, traffic and other events can delay an itinerary. Our GLs will make sure that the proper modifications are made to try and fit in everything planned for the tour.

They will make a difference on your tour, and the organizers and students will enjoy their presence.

Our Pledge To Our Travelers

Your GO Leader Will Be:

  • A knowledgeable and engaging young person.
  • Well trained by GO to assist in the success of the tour and making sure the students are enjoying their trip.
  • Making sure the safety rules are well communicated and understood during the course of the tour.
  • The GO Leader will consult with you, the organizer, when changes or modifications need to be made during the trip.
  • They will make sure the trip runs smoothly so that everyone gets the most out of their experience.
  • They will smile all day.

Lacey Glass

Customer Experience Leader - GO Leader

Travelling with her mother, a teacher, Lacey learned the educational value of travel at a young age. After graduating with a degree in English Education Lacey taught middle school for two years until wanderlust got the best of her and she went to work as a flight attendant and then onboard cruise ships. Ultimately, Lacey found the perfect position that combined her love of working with students and travelling when she began her career in the student travel industry. Since that time she has planned trips for 1000's of students throughout North America. Lacey resides full time in St. Pete, Florida where she volunteers with animal rescue organizations, races sailboats and dresses her three rescue dogs up for any occasion she can find.
